Condolences for MLV

Many of you know "MLV" (the blogger behind Many Luxury Vacations). I've always liked reading MLV's posts on how men get shafted by the church and religious women. Recently, he posted an announcement that he is in "the final stages of inoperable cancer." I left a note on his blog offering my condolences and I offer them here again. If you haven't done so already, you might want to drop by his blog and leave him a note.

Thanks folks.

More Good Blogs

The following are some various blogs I like to read. You might find a mixed bag of quality and taste at these links. My listing of these blogs does not in any way imply wholesale endorsement of what might be found at them. It also does not imply an endorsement on the part of these blogs for what I write. Finally, a listing of these blogs does not imply that they endorse each other. So, exercise discernment. "Eat the meat and spit out the bones." "Caveat emptor" and so forth.

Notable Kindred

In order to be listed in the "Notable Kindred" category, the owners of the following blogs must be libertarian and religious. They must be opposed to statism either from leftists or right-wingers. Finally, they must be opposed to anti-male sexism, although their blogs are not primarily focused on men's rights.

*Triton Unleashed
(http://tritonunleashed.blogspot.com/)

*Amir Larijani
(http://www.singlemind.net/)

*Vox Popoli (Vox Day)

The Rest of the Best

*Thoughts from a Reformed Perspective (aka Puritan Calvinist)
[I read this blog mostly for the great theological critiques of the Marriage Mandate Movement.]

*Lew Rockwell
[Okay, this isn't a blog, per se, but now you know something about my political leanings.]

This whole list, of course, may be updated from time to time.

Blogs For Men

The following blogs can be regarded, to some degree or another, as being "male-friendly." By that, I mean they are not in the habit of shaming and blaming men, unlike other writers and pundits who discuss gender relations. They are primarily focused on issues affecting men that are worthy of consideration, but may be ignored by a gynocentrist status quo. Most of these blogs have a definite affiliation with men's rights activism (MRA).

*MGTOW Reading Room
[Put together by some men involved in the MGTOW movement, this page has feeds from MRA blogs organized in topical fashion.]

This list may be updated from time to time. If you think of other blogs that fit the theme here (I'm chiefly looking for religious ones), please let me know (in another post or something like that). I can't promise that I will act on every suggestion, but I do nonetheless solicit feedback.

Welcome.

The purpose of this blog is to share my convictions on what manhood means from a biblical perspective. I may diverge into other topics, though.

Cheers.
