A blog for Christian men "going their own way."

Heh.

Ok, this is, uh, somewhat amusing. Sometimes, a little bit of comic relief is useful to keep oneself from getting too glum about the ridiculous attitudes society has with regard to men. The thing about parodies, though, is that it's hard to poke fun at something that already goes to hilarious extremes.

Anakin,

Thanks for the link. I love doing parodies of the MM folks. It's so completely silly.

I mean, really..

Does anyone really believe the devil himself is keeping Christian women single? If he is, he sure is keeping the right ones single.

To think, I almost proposed to a Maken-brainwashed girl last year. I really dodged a bullet there.

I do enjoy both your blogs. I think there are very few of us who understand being a Christian man means something different than being effeminate and conforming. Like Jesus did, we have to stand up to nonsense and say the truth when the conventional wisdom is all set up to please popular feminine ideals.

Keep the faith, brother.

Love it love it love it. Do you think that Mrs. Maken is going to try to shut down the blog?

I remember when somebody had Darla Jean Philistine, it was shut down. I was so sad!

with respect, anakin, I don´t think this link is such a big deal. Shooting fish in a barrel is stupid when there is real work to be done. And I don´t see anything at this link that calls men to purity, looking to God, or looking to scripture and the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit.

"the blogger formerly known as singlechristianman" is right.

Anakin,

Delete the link and the Luxury Vacations references. Why feed some of the trends that are causing problems?

Don't delete the links, Anakin. That's just what the Chancellor wants!
